Boer War Tour
This private full-day tour includes a visit to Nooitgedacht (1899-1902 War) and Bronkhorstspruit (1880 Battle). Start the day with an overview of the History of the country through a talk titled “20000 Years In 60 Minutes!”, followed by an overview of events leading up to the two Wars. Then drive to Bronkhorstspruit and visit the site of the Battle that took place on 20th December 1880, as visit the memorials to the 94th Foot Regiment. The story of the battle is told in vivid detail. Continue past past the Magaliesberg, pointing out scenes of Battles and Forts, en route to Nooitgedacht. After a spectacular drive reach the top of Nooitgedacht where the battle of 1901 is narrated in detail (pointing out the scenes of battle and the roles played by the leaders on both sides).
