Boma Dinner at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
Boma Dinner - Provides not just a meal but a unique cultural experience, and is situated in Gusu Bush near the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. This restaurant seats 250 guests in the dry season and 180 in the rainy season (November to April). Exclusive use of the restaurant can be arranged for 200 guests or more. The menu specialties include a range of traditional Zimbabwean dishes as well as a barbecue buffet, offering enough variety to cater for most tastes. There is the opportunity for the more adventurous guests to sample local delicacies such as mopani worms, game stews and traditional beer. Shangaan dancers and singers entertain diners whilst they eat and the restaurant has its own sangoma – the traditional storyteller – who can teach more about the country’s folklore, culture and heritage. The restaurant is open from 7pm and dress is casual. Pre-booking is necessary.
