Overview
Western edge of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve
With the Staff being made up entirely of Local San who are from the area, this makes Grasslands the most comprehensive San experience in Southern Africa. The Lodge is family orientated being able to accommodate 16 Guests in en-suite chalets with a separate special family unit. Grasslands can be reached by Charter flight to their private landing strip, or by 4X4 vehicle transfer from Ghanzi town.

With an area of almost 373 000 square miles, Botswana is virtually the same size as France or Texas. Situated in the center of southern Africa, it is a landlocked country, with Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe as its immediate neighbors. Botswana lies an average of 3,000 feet above sea level and is more than 372 miles from the nearest coast. The Tropic of Capricorn bisects Botswana.
