Kings Camp is situated facing an open savanna plain with a waterhole, which is frequented by a wide variety of wildlife day and night. The lodge is famous for its colonial lush green gardens, a contrast to the dry savanna bushveld.
Generously spacious suites are luxuriously equipped with air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom with Victorian ball-and-claw bath, indoor and outdoor double shower, fully stocked mini-bar and private verandah. Dark tones of wood and thatch offset the natural colors of the bushveld.
Camp facilities include an inviting bar and lounge, deck overlooking the spotlit waterhole, a gym and sparkling pool. A library with satellite television and Internet facilities ensures that guests keep up to date with the latest news while relaxing in tranquility. The finest standard in South African cuisine is served in the elegant dining room, around a crackling campfire in the boma, or in the bush beneath the stars.
Kings Camp offers a wealth of bio-diversity. With access to 100 square kilometers of traversing, Big 5 game viewing is excellent in this region. The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve forms part of the greater Kruger National Park. Fences have been removed to create a more natural and healthy ecosystem.
