Mara Plains Camp is nestled in lush forest on the meandering bends of the Ntiakatek River. Each tent is classic and spacious, built on a raised, stilted wooden platform, with en-suite bathroom facilities and a private veranda that offers spectacular views over the vast, stretching plains. The communal living area consists of two very comfortable sitting rooms adjacent to a central dining tent, all of which is canvas and open on all sides. These look out over uninterrupted plains that team with wildlife, and are illuminated in the evenings by the glow of the setting sun.

Camp TentHexagonal shape, with three front panels screened by fly netting to allow open views. These can be closed down with a canvas flap in the event of rain or at night. Tents are beige in color and so are light and bright. Each room is positioned to give an exceptional view, be it plains or forest or river. There are private sitting areas on the verandas as you walk in. Veranda wraps around to connect the two bedrooms from outside as well. Tented rooms with either twin or double bed configuration available. Customized canvas room on raised wooden platform. |
