Ulusaba re-defines the rules of a safari lodge and has taken a step beyond the traditional colonial style by offering swimming pools, gymnasiums, a wine cellar, Aroma Boma spas, a Bush Observatory perfect for star gazing, Photographic Safaris and tennis courts. With all of these facilities, you really need to plan your days to enjoy safari walks, moon-lit bush dinners and of course, the twice daily game drives.
Rock Lodge is perched high on the summit of a koppie with views over the vast lowveld and the distant Drakensberg Mountain range.  Guests have access to Safari Lodge, built along the banks of the dry Mabrak riverbed, where you will love the sense of adventure as you cross the swing bridges between exquisite tree house rooms while elephants, bushbuck and other local wildlife pass by.
Children of any age are welcome at Rock Lodge. Younger pride members of the family can visit the Cub’s Club offering a range of activities aiming to both entertain and educate cubs about their surroundings.
Internationally renowned chefs at Ulusaba have developed numerous pan-African dishes influenced by many African cultures, flavors and spices. Whether dining under the African sky, in the outdoor dining Boma, on a deck or in the dining room, the menus and meals promise to be exciting, social and inspirational. All breads and pastries are baked daily and private meals, special occasions and children are all catered for.

Built on 3 levels with beautiful views, an en-suite bathroom, and private balcony with infinity plunge pool. The living area features a telescope and iPod docking station.

Suite built on two levels with full en-suite bathrooms and featuring private balconies with infinity edge plunge pools. With separate living area and study/library, each has a luxurious fold-out sleeper couch suitable for children.
