January 28, 2011: African Bush Camps Botswana & Ker Downey Botswana Partnership
26 January 2011, Maun, Botswana: Ker & Downey Botswana is pleased to announce the formation of a joint venture with African Bush Camps Botswana. This results from Chobe Holdings Ltd, KDB parent company, taking an equity stake in ABC’s Botswana operations.
The creation of a strategic partnership between two legendary Botswana safari companies will further enable Ker & Downey Botswana to offer the finest and most authentic safari camps. Furthermore it will provide a convenient one-stop safari solution centre, offering guests a diverse experience across Botswana through a broad portfolio of camps.
As of 1st March 2011, Ker & Downey Botswana will manage the reservations for Linyanti Bush Camp, Saile, Linyanti Walking Safaris and Khwai Tented Camp, and as of this date all these camps can be booked through Ker & Downey Botswana’s offices in Maun. Clients currently holding bookings through African Bush Camps Botswana will not be affected and these reservations – and the camps – will operate as usual.
However, please note that the partnership has resulted in a minor change in terms and conditions. The two companies have combined marketing material and clients will receive a revised manual shortly.
