November 10, 2010: KAI to Represent Footsteps in Africa
Effective October 1, 2010, Kartagener Associates Inc (KAI), a New York based travel and destination marketing firm, will represent Footsteps in Africa (FIA), Botswana’s largest circuit of independent camps, lodges and services.
Footsteps in Africa’s owner-operated camps are situated in each of the key areas of northern Botswana - Makgadikgadi (Nxai Pans, Central Kalahari, Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park. Small and intimate, the thirteen properties fall into three distinct categories Superior, Classic and Rustic Camps. Delta Air, FIA’s charter company, links all FIA camps making it easy to combine the different regions.
Footsteps in Africa is committed to providing a quality, rewarding, yet affordable safari experience for guests, while being acutely aware of both their own and their guest’s impact on the environment. Carbon offset programs at each and Eco-friendly systems lie at the core of FIA’s environmental policy. Social responsibility and sustainable tourism to the benefit of local communities is also the primary focus at each camp.
Kartagener Associates will raise awareness of Footsteps in Africa and its extensive network to travel trade of North America. For over fifteen years, KAI has been creating marketing strategies for diverse portfolio of African properties and wordwide destination management companies.
