Drive through the winelands, passing magnificent wine estates which you will return to after settling in to your guesthouse. As well as Franschhoek, you will also visit the most diverse of South Africa’s wine regions, Klein Karoo. Day trips, activities are all on your door step, as are delightful gourmet restaurants to enjoy. Oudtshoorn is your next stop, then it is on to coastal beauties Knysna and Hermanus, where you can experience whale watching, shark cage diving and horse riding. To finish this fantastic journey you will end your last couple of nights in Cape Town, most famous for its harbor, well known landmarks and activities.

Itinerary
Day 1 Cape Town - Winelands
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and collect your hire car. Drive to the Winelands and overnight at Franschhoek, one of the regions most charming towns.
Day 2 Oudtshoorn
This morning, enjoy Franschhoek, which is well known for its award winning restaurants and wineries. At your leisure, commence your journey to Oudtshoorn where you can visit an Ostrich Farm. Overnight in Oudtshoorn.
Day 3 Knysna
Leave Oudtshoorn and head for Knysna. Enroute, why not stop at the Cango Caves and the Cango Wildlife Ranch. Overnight at Knysna.
Day 4 Knysna
Continue sightseeing some of South Africa’s most beautiful beaches, mountains and rivers. There are countless activities to enjoy in Knysna and the surrounding area, from whale-watching, hiking, golfing and swimming to bungee jumping. Overnight at Knysna.
Day 5 Hermanus
Continue your journey along the coast to Hermanus, the town considered by some to offer the best land-based whale watching in South Africa and the world (seasonal).
Day 6 Hermanus
You have a full day to explore Hermanus and the surrounding area.
Day 7 Cape Town
Drive onto Cape Town which is known for its diverse range of attractions, sights and activities. Majestic Table Mountain overlooks the city. The V&A Waterfront is the center of shopping, cafes, restaurants and sundowner spots.
Day 8 Cape Town
Full day exploring the delights of Cape Town. We can suggest optional day tours.
Day 9 Depart
Spent the morning further exploring Cape Town’s amazing sights. This afternoon, drop off your car at Cape Town International Airport for your flight onwards.
