This amazing 8-night package begins with Kalahari Plains Camp in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, moves on to Jacana, Xigera or Seba Camp in the Okavango Delta, then Lianshulu Lodge in Namibia’s Caprivi Strip and ends at Toka Leya Camp or The River Club near Livingstone and the breathtaking Victoria Falls.

Safari for All Seasons offers unique insights into Southern Africa’s seasons of contrast. In summer, rains bring the profusion of new life – antelope and plains game give birth to their young, opportunistic predators take advantage, colorful migrant birds arrive, dormant plants burst through the soil and flowers and fruits abound. In the drier months, animals are gripped in the epic struggle of survival, drawn to the major wetlands and rivers that are lifelines at this time of year.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Maun - Kalahari Plains (D)

Upon arrival in Maun you will be met by a representative of Wilderness Safaris who will assist you to your aircraft for your scheduled light aircraft transfer to Kalahari Plains Camp where you spend the next three nights. Accommodation: Kalahari Plains Camp.

Day 2-3 - Kalahari Plains (B, L, D)

Scheduled activities and game drives. Accommodation: Kalahari Plains Camp

Day 4 - Kalahari Plains - Okavango Delta (B, L, D)

Today, at a time to be advised by your camp manager you will be collected from Kalahari Plains Camp for your scheduled light aircraft transfer to Jacana, Xigera or Seba Camp where you spend the next two nights. Accommodation: Jacana or similar

Day 5 - Okavango Delta (B, L, D)

Enjoy a full day in the Delta. Jacana Camp is a truly water-oriented camp and offers mokoro and walking safaris (on request prior to travel) all year round. Game drives are also on offer year round but night drives are only possible from about September to May as water levels restrict this activity when the flood is in. Accommodation: Jacana or similar

Day 6 - Okavango Delta - Mudumu National Park (B , L, D)

Today, at a time to be advised by your camp manager you will be collected from Jacana, Xigera or Seba Camp for your scheduled light aircraft transfer to Kwando Airstrip. Upon arrival you will be met by a representative of Lianshulu Lodge for your road & boat transfer to the lodge. Spend the next two nights at Lianshulu Lodge. Accommodation: Lianshulu Lodge

Day 7 - Mudumu National Park (B, L, D)

Enjoy a full day at Lianshulu. Activities here include morning or sunset boat cruises, nature drives in the Park and visits to a local school and a local village. We visit several villages, of which one is the Lizauli Traditional Village which is a model homestead where members of the local community give fascinating insights into their way of life in this remote corner of Namibia. Accommodation: Lianshulu Lodge

Day 8 - Mudumu National Park - Livingstone (B, L, D)

Today, at a time to be advised by your camp manager you will be collected from Lianshulu Lodge for your scheduled road transfer (approximately 4 hours) to The River Club or Toka Leya Camp. Accommodation: The River Club or Toka Leya Camp.

Day 9 - Tour Concludes

Today, at a time to be advised by your camp manager you will be collected from The River Club or Toka Leya Camp for your scheduled road transfer to Livingstone International Airport where you will be assisted with check-in for your onward scheduled flight.
