Start your luxury safari experience in the Madikwe Game Reserve.  Madikwe is a Big Five game reserve covering some 75,000 hectare. It is one of the largest game reserves in South Africa.  The rich diversity of vegetation ensures a wide range of game and the topography offers ideal game viewing opportunities.

Continue on to the Sabi Sands – renowned for its leopard sightings as it has the highest density of leopards in the world. Watch the elephants, impalas, baboons and many other animals as they stop by a favorite drinking spot.  Discover rich biodiversity, first-rate photographic opportunities and amazing wildlife encounters.  Enjoy game drives, game walks, night drives and dining under the African sky in a traditional boma (corral).

A highlight of your trip will be the interaction you have with elephants en route to the Timbavati.  Experience the thrill of being close to these magnificent creatures and witness their intelligence, their compassionate nature and sheer delight interacting with their human counterparts.  The interaction with the Elephant offers you the opportunity to touch the Elephant, exchange trunk greetings and offer tasty treats. Experienced Elephant handlers share their in-depth knowledge of fascinating Elephant behavior.  In addition to interacting with the Elephants, embark on a short ride. Saddle up and enjoy a different perspective, historically a privilege only reserved for kings!

Your final stop is in the Timbavati where there are over 40 mammal species including the Big Five of Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant as well as 360 species of bird life. Timbavati’s herds of buffalo are a must see. If South African visitors may have seen a white lion in captivity but the only known area to see them in the wild is Timbavati’s northern reserves. These unusual felines are not albino but actual have a condition where there is a loss of pigment in the skin and fur but not the eyes.
