You will begin your 11 day safari experience at the Little Makalolo Camp in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. The park is known for being ecologically diverse and having over 100 recorded species of mammals. Little Makalolo has six well-appointed units, including one honeymoon suite and a family unit, all with indoor and outdoor showers. A log pile hide overlooking the waterhole in front of camp afford guests a very unique game viewing experience.
The next stop on your vacation is Ruckomechi Camp idyllically located, overlooking the Zambezi River in Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe and the imposing Great African Rift Valley. Comprising 5,600 sq. miles this park is located in the heart of the Zambezi Valley and is famed for the rich and varied mammal life. The camp accommodates up to 22 guests in ten spacious en-suite tented units, including a honeymoon suite and family room. All of these units maximize views of the Zambezi River and the escarpment beyond.
The third camp you will visit is Busanga Bush Camp located on the Busanga Plains of Northern Kafue National Park, Zambia. The amazing landscapes of the Busanga Plains comprised wetland and grassland here is in complete contrast to that of Mana Pools, thereby providing a complementary experience. Busanga Bush Camp lies hidden in an island thicket. This camp can accommodate eight guests in four comfortable tents.
Last but not least, a visit to the mighty Victoria Falls - one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World – is a fitting end to a great African safari. You will stay at the Toka Leya Camp located on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River in the secluded Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, Zambia. Mosi-Oa-Tunya is directly translated as ‘the smoke that thunders’, the local name for the Victoria Falls which is found 7.5 miles from camp and forms one of the main activities. Toka Leya Camp consists of 12 climate-controlled units on elevated wooden decks. Each unit has inside and outside showers as well as sweeping views of the Zambezi River from a comfortable balcony.

Itinerary
Day 1 – To Little Makalolo Camp
Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, Zimbabwe, depart with Wilderness Air for Little Makalolo Camp, in Hwange National Park where you will stay three nights.
Day 2 & 3 – Explore Little Makalolo Camp
Enjoy the Hwange National Park and the Makalolo Concession, a ecologically diverse area that lends itself to a vast number of plains game together with attendant predators.
Day 4 – Little Makalolo Camp to Ruckomechi Camp
Fly to Victoria Falls Airport and connect by private charter onto Ruckomechi Camp for your three night stay.
Day 5 & 6 – Enjoy Ruckomechi Camp
Explore Mana Pools National Park and enjoy the available activities like early morning walks with an experienced guide, morning and afternoon game drives, night drives, canoeing and catch-and-release fishing.
Day 7 - Ruckomechi Camp to Busanga Bush Camp
Take a boat transfer to Chirundu, followed by road transfer to Lusaka Airport to connect with flight onto Busanga Bush Camp where you will stay 3 nights.
Day 8 & 9 – Discover Busanga Bush Camp
Enjoy the Kafue National Park and the available activities like morning and afternoon-into-evening game drives as well as early season (June and July) boat trips.
Day 10 - Busanga Bush Camp to Toka Leya Camp
After an early morning drive and breakfast, fly from Kafue National Park to Livingstone Airport, then transfer by road to Toka Leya Camp where you will stay the night.
Day 11 - Transfer to Livingstone International Airport
After a relaxing start to the day (or morning activity), transfer by road to Livingstone Airport for outbound flight or continuing arrangements.
