Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat

Met on arrival in Casablanca. A brief highlights tour will be included depending on your arrival time. Then, drive along the coast to Rabat.

Day 2: Rabat - Tangiers

Explore Morocco’s political and administrative capital, Rabat where you will find a pretty beach, an intact and evocative kasbah (walled city), and an attractive and authentic medina (old town). Continue the drive along the Atlantic coast to Tangier. (B)

Day 3: Tangier

Spend the day exploring Tangier, Morocco's main gate to Europe and the home of many artists. Back in the day Tangier was a favorite gathering place for the Beat Generation. (B)

Day 4: Chefchaouen

Drive toward the Rif mountains and Chefchaouen, the most charming village in Morocco, often referred to as The Blue City. Chefchaouen's kasbah was built in the 15th century and is a must see. (B)

Day 5: Chefchaouen - Meknes - Fes

Travel from Chefchaouen via the ruins of the ancient city of Volubilis to the Imperial city of Meknes the one-time home of the Moroccan sultanate with its medina of winding narrow streets and grand buildings.. Remnants of three sets of fortifications, ingeniously incorporated into the city's road networks, emphasize its past importance and glory. Continue to Fes. (B)

Day 6: Fes

Take a step back in time to the Middle Ages and one of the most imperial, timeless and untouched cities in the world - Fez El Bali (Old Fez) - the cultural heart of Morocco. Spend the day exploring its attractions and reveling in its beauty. (B)

Day 7: Fes - Erfoud

Today is a full day spent driving through ever changing scenery from Fes to Erfoud. Stop along the way in the mountain town of Ifrane, which will remind you of a Swiss village, and Midelt, a large agricultural community hub. (B,D)

Day 8: Erfoud - Merzouga

A 4 x 4 vehicle will take you into the Sahara for your desert experience. Along the way, you will stop at a Berber village and a bustling traditional market. Amidst the sand dunes is your desert camp from where you will enjoy a stunning sunset, an unforgettable meal, and a night sky festooned with thousands of stars. Either this afternoon, or tomorrow morning, you will take a camel ride in the dunes. (B,L,D)

Day 9: Merzouga - Ouarzazate

Another full day of travel and sightseeing today as you move from Merzouga through the High Atlas mountains to Tinghir and Todra gorges - the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. Proceed through the picturesque Dades Valley to Skoura and Kasbah Amridil, an iconic living museum. Overnight in Ouarzazate. (B,D)

Day 10: Ouarzazate - Air Ben Haddou - Marrakech

Visit Taourir Kasbahs, one of the most beautiful Kasbahs in Morocco before continuing to the spectacular Ait Ben Haddou, a massive UNESCO fortification made up of six Kasbahs, immortalized in such films as, Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Alexander. Travel though the High Atlas mountains to Marrakech.

Days 11 & 12: Marrakech

Spend two days exploring the jewel of Morocco, Marrakech, on an escorted city tour, and independently to take full advantage of the markets, restaurants, hammams and gardens. Marrakech is everyone's favorite Moroccan city and options for sightseeing are many and varied. (B)

Day 13: Depart

Drive back to Casablanca Airport for departure. (B)
